Champagne Rose Anntique Gaudinat-Boivin

Rosé ANTIQUE (Brut 75cl)

Grape varieties :

  • Meunier 100%
  • The grapes come from a selection of old vines planted in the 60s and 70s.

In this case for this first bottling, these are plots harvested at the end of the 2018 harvest in a rather clayey sector with a very good maturity at harvest (almost 12% vol at vatting).

All of the marc has been drained for this cuvée after a 36-hour maceration.

The malolactic fermentation was carried out and the dosage is practiced with a Traditional liqueur.

Intense pink color and the foam is persistent, aromas of red and black fruits (Blackberry), powerful and fleshy mouth with a frank attack and a spicy finish.

Wine and food pairing :

Aperitif, Beef tartar, Pork tenderloin in crust and morels, Cranberry Black Forest Cake.
